My Future

Posted on: May 10, 2011

I woke up ok this morning. I feel a little stiff as the day is going on, but the weather is beautiful, so that really helps.

As I sit at my desk at work, I wonder if this job is just making the arthritis worse and how long I can continue on here. I mean, I have always worked and made money. I like being able to provide for myself. My fiance works as well but the thought of relying on him for finacial support is scary if I could not work myself at some point.

I am entering my final year of grad school and hope that I may be able to work a little less for about the same money once I have my degree. That is nerve wracking though because student loans need to be paid back.

I have done a lot of thinking lately about looking for more natural paths in treating the rheumatoid arthritis. I took up yoga about a year and half ago, but really only have time to go about once a week. The thought of using my degree to open up a wellness-type center for people looking for a more natural treatment for arthritis and other chronic illnesses.

Hmmm. How to make this into a reality instead of just a pipe-dream while still trying to remain healthy and plan my future with my fiance? Seems like the next several months and years could be pretty exciting…
